Sunny Beach - the biggest Black Sea resort in Bulgaria. It is located 38 km north of Bourgas and 90 km from Varna. The resort is located in a small bay, and it reaches the northern part of the Stara Planina Mountain. The beach stretches for 8 kilometers and is 60 meters wide, the sand is fine and clear golden color, forms dunes in some places. In 2003, five kilometers from the resort opened the largest water park. Debilitating heat is not threatened because of soft sea breezes and the proximity of the mountains.
