The house is a 15th century farmhouse which has been restored to very high standards, with original materials, chestnut beams in every room, fireplaces and quarry tiles. It is tastefully furnished with antique furniture, but at the same time it is a very functional home, with plenty of space for everything, good central heating, bathrooms and showers, and all modern conveniences. One enters into an entrance which then connects the eat-in double kitchen with the living room and dining room. These rooms all have character French doors that lead out to the country style, manicured gardens. Each room flows into each other in a logical manner. The main living room/dining room has a walk-in fireplace. This main room leads into a cosier sitting room with a bathroom off it. This bathroom has a bath in it. Outside this bathroom is one of the two terracotta staircases that lead up to the first floor. On the first floor there are the main room, a reading room, two double bedrooms and a bathroom. The main sitting room has another large fireplace as well as a terrace with stairs leading down into the gardens. The bedrooms are designed to be almost like suites sharing a bathroom. Each of these bathrooms has both a bath and shower. The second floor mirrors the first floor with two double bedrooms, sharing the same style of bathroom with both tub and shower. One of these rooms has the original columns as a feature from the 15th century. It was discovered during the restoration that took place mainly in the 1980's. There is another a large living room on this floor. The property is surrounded by a 10000 m large enclosed park with pool, outdoor shower and changing room. In the garden there are several areas furnished with chairs and a barbecue for outdoor dining. The house is located about 1 km from Camaiore, and about 10 km from the sea, which is accessible via a fast provincial road. This means that the house has restaurants and bars within walking distance. The sewers are public, the water is public with a rain collection tank in the garden for irrigation. A truly beautiful place.
