The town of St. Johann in Tirol originated in a wide valley between the slopes of the Nieder-Kaiser and Wilder-Kaiser massifs, literally 6 km north of Kitzbhel. The resort is positioned as perfectly suitable for families and beginners. This does not in the least hamper the abundance of "red" trails, as they everywhere turn into wide and easy-to-train rides that could be classified as "green". And the proximity of the more "sporting" Kitzbhel makes it possible to find the slopes for every taste. At the same time, about 23 km of cross-country ski runs are laid (275 - taking into account the entire region), there are 3 sleighs, a toboggan track in St. Johann itself (plus 3 in the adjacent regions), 2 routes for carving, several sections for mogul and a small area of freeride, a snowboard park, paragliding clubs, mototional and aeronautics, as well as a skating rink.

In the town itself there are all necessary recreational facilities - swimming pools, saunas, steam baths, discos, numerous restaurants, bars and clubs, 3 wellness centers, 2 horse riding arenas (plus 4 in the district). Also available are all the restaurants of Kitzbhel, which can be reached in just 15 minutes by a free bus (with a ski pass).
