Sarafovo - a place of unspoiled beauty. Found as a village over 80 years ago as refugees by the Thracians, now it has become known for its beautiful buildings and preferred by people as a place to live. Its population believes it is more than 3000, including the foreigners who chose Bulgaria for their home. At present Sarafovo - quarter of Bourgas - the fourth largest city in Bulgaria, administrative, commercial, tourist and cultural center. Kvartal is located on the Black Sea coast between the ancient town of Sozopol and Nessebar to the South to the North, and only on the road between Burgas and Sunny Beach - the biggest sea resort in Bulgaria.

Sarafovo got attractiveness as a resort because of its unique features: Wide beach, about 4 km long, covered with fine sand, almost black in places, due to its high content of iron, manganese and magnesium. Higher sea water temperature than the other resorts because of its situation in the Gulf of Burgas. This increases the opportunity for a longer tourist season - until late October, when the water is still warm and good for swimming.
