Port of sea tourism in the Smka Bay on the island of Brac with a concession (long-term lease of the coastline from the state) to the yacht pier, with a parking space for 150 yachts.

The island of Brac with its deep bays, pine forests along the crystal clear sea has been an attractive tourist destination for many years. Sea tourism is one of the most promising forms of the Croatian tourist business. On the island of Brac, maritime tourism is a still not completely filled niche, marinas are very popular among tourists.

The Gulf of Smrk is an area in the south-western part of Brac, its natural natural location is protected from waves from all sides. The road from the rubble comes to the bay. The maritime tourist harbor in the Smrka Gulf consists of land-based facilities, a seaside part, including quays, a designed beach with its infrastructure and a platform for marina servicing.

The area of the seaside zone with an improved coastline has a certain boundary (area of 35,072 m2). The second part of the land used as a marina is 10 436 m2. The width of the planned harbor is not the same everywhere: at the beginning, at the entrance - 160 m, in the central part a bit already - 106 m because of its special purpose earlier (military defense facilities), at the bottom the width is about 36 m.

The depth at the entrance to the port area is about 35 m, and the depth of the shallow part is about 5 m. The foot consists of an underwater rock covered with layers of sand and stone, which is a suitable supporting base.

Sea tourism should provide a safe berth in all weather conditions, which in this place is provided by a convenient natural location and the construction of a breakwater. The location of the marina is such that it follows the natural shore of the sea and extends from south-west to north-east.
