The site is located on the island of Patmos.The Dodecanese, or Southern Sporades, an archipelago in the South-Eastern part of the Aegean sea belongs to Greece. Located at the South-Western coast of the Peninsula of Asia Minor, a few kilometers from the coast of Turkey. The location of the Islands made the term "sporadic" is synonymous with randomness.
