It is located so close to the mainland that is connected to it 14-meter bridge. The Strait of Euripus, through which spanned the bridge itself is an attraction: the water is rushing at a speed often reaching 8 miles per hour. However, remarkable is not the speed of the water, and the fact that every 6 hours for freezes for a short time, and then rushes again, but each time in the opposite direction. This alternating movement of water occurs continuously for thousands of years. Legend has it that Aristotle drowned, trying to solve the riddle.
