Its’ history began in 1599 when burgomaster Nikolai Ecker started construction. When in 1710 Latvia became dependent from Russia, Czar Peter the First chose it to be his residence in Riga. In 1999 started reconstruction. As the result there were set up spaces for stores, offices, a restaurant and exclusive apartments, some of them with inner balconies and terraces. The apartments have autonomus heating system, fire safety and burglar alarm, and a satelite system, round-the-clock guard service, double glazed windows, meters for utilities. In several apartments saunas are planned. Convenient parking.
