The development of tourism and the competitiveness of a tourist site can only be guaranteed by an excellent tourist offer, which includes the natural resources of the facility provided by the attractive tourist areas of Croatia. Tourist zone Smrka is located in the bay of Smrka on the island of Bra. The island of Brac is the largest island in Dalmatia, with an area of 395 km2 being the third largest island in the Adriatic. The island of Brac is located near Split, the largest city on the east coast of the Adriatic Sea, it is an interesting holiday destination for tourists.

The Bay of Smrk is a region located in the south-western part of the island. Brac. The road from the rubble leads to the bay. Tourist zone is planned at the entrance to the bay. From the tourist area you can admire the wonderful view of the island of Hvar. In accordance with the location of the tourist zone, the form of the planned objects is determined, taking into account the existing natural conditions, as well as for proper environmental protection.

The location of the project includes part of the coastal zone of the Smrk Bay and the coastal zone along the coast, which is not yet fully developed at the moment. Because of its natural position, the bay is protected from waves from all sides. The coastline, passing by the yacht pier, is a natural narrow rocky territory. The region, included in the Development Program, does not yet have a realized municipal infrastructure, as it is planned in planning documents for a wider area. After urbanization (adoption of the development plan), the necessary communal infrastructure will be introduced. At the moment, municipal development plans for the approval of the coastal zone in the development process. The natural appearance of the coast must be preserved where possible.

Within the tourist zone it is planned:

-Tourist objects and tourism - T1 - hotels and T2 - villas,

-Sport and recreation, beach,

-Green Zone,

-Places of infrastructure,

- Port and sea harbor.

In the tourist area of Smrka, it is planned to build accommodation facilities for 1250 guests.
