Medieval castle Montegualandro beginning of the VIII century, surrounded by a pine forest, oak forests and olive groves. Reconstructed in 1994 under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture.

Montegualandro subjected to various modifications through the centuries. Major changes have occurred in the mid 1500's xx years, when, with the appearance of artillery, many strategic strengthening lost their relevance. large windows were open to improving the quality of residential buildings, new iron gates replaced the old drawbridge. At the same time the North Tower was closed and reserved for the prison.

Inside the complex consists of five buildings:

1) The main building consists of:

- On the ground floor: large hall (120 sqm), protection flat (80 sqm), Cantina (130 sqm), utility room (80 sq m) and 2 bathrooms for guests;

- On the second and third floors: Owner's apartment (170 square meters);

- On the fourth floor of the library (130 sq m);

- On the heels of a floor, which is not complete restoration of the premises, it is possible to make another 5 rooms (300 square meters).

2) The guest house is divided into 4 apartments with private entrances, bathrooms and fireplaces. There is a utility room, laundry room. Also in this building fully renovated room with antique wood-burning oven (360 sqm).

3) Karetnaya workshop (garage for 6 cars).

4) The Church of St. Nicholas (1230).

5) Former prison (North Tower).

Along the perimeter of the circumferential wall are 4 towers.

Total living area - 1800 square meters, indoor garden - 1500 sq. m.

There is a place equipped with a helicopter landing.

- Water supply - well depth of 100 meters with a pump and waste water treatment filters;
